Jeffrey J. Popma, MD, FACC is the Chief Scientific and Strategic Officer for the Cardiovascular Research Foundation.. Dr, Popma was previously the Director, Interventional Cardiology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Most recently, Dr. Popma was the Chief Medical Officer for Coronary, Renal Denervation, and Structural Heart at Medtronic. Dr. Popma is a Professor of Medicine, Emeritus, Harvard Medical School in Boston. Dr. Popma is a former Past President of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention and former Co-Chairman at the Interventional Council at the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Popma received his Bachelor in Economics from Stanford University, and his Medical Degree Magna Cum Laude from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He has written over 500 peer review manuscripts, His research interest are in Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart.
