Carlos E Alfonso MD FACC FSCAI is a board certified interventional and structural cardiologist, and the current general cardiology fellowship program director at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is the medical director for complex coronary interventions and CTO program at the University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - UHealth Tower. HIs clinical expertise and research interests include complex coronary interventions including CTO, mechanical circulatory support, AMI and cardiogenic shock, as well as structural cardiology interventions including treatment of valvulat heart disease with TAVR, TEER.
