Abdulla A Damluji, MD, PhD, MBA is the Director of the Inova Center of Outcomes Research in Falls Church, VA. He is a practicing interventional cardiologist and structural heart disease specialist at the Inova Heart and Vascular Institute and serves as a Medical Director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Inova Alexandria Hospital. Dr Damluji is an Associate Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a Pepper scholar at Johns Hopkins Center on Aging and Health.
His NIH funded (NHLBI K23HL153771) examines health outcomes, geriatric syndromes, and multisystem dysregulation in older adults undergoing cardiovascular interventions. Overall, Dr. Damluji is dedicated to the study of cardiovascular aging and improving the quality of life for older adults living with cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Damluji obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH '07) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD '20) in Clinical Investigation from the Johns Hopkins University, where he served as a Pepper Scholar at the Johns Hopkins Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center, Center on Aging and Health. Serving as the Dean's Scholar in the Executive MBA Programs at New York University, he obtained a Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA '23) in two specializations (Finance and Business Analytics) from NYU Stern School of Business.
