Alexandre Cesar Ferreira, MD is a board certified interventional cardiologist and structural cardiologist, and the current chief of cardiology for Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was the program director for the interventional cardiology training program for the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital for over 15 years. His area of expertise is treatment of acute STEMI, cardiogenic shock and structural procedures. He has authored and co-authored over 50 peer review papers, abstracts, and book chapters. He is a co-author of a textbook “Interventional Cardiology Secretes”.
